“For a Technology at the Service of the Human Being”
Technohumanism is the union of Thought and Technology, arising from the application of the ideas and theses of the Human Disciplines to the Disruptive Emerging Technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
GENESIS
The unstoppable advance of New Technologies and their impact on all human, scientific and knowledge disciplines mean that humanity has inexorably entered several transformations and revolutions that are taking place in parallel but that complement each other as never before.
All these changes are happening at a dizzying speed and will burst in almost without time for reaction or assimilation by current socio-political structures. Technological innovation is something we cannot ignore in our lives, since it codes and determines what we have been, what we are today and what, in all likelihood, we will be in the years to come.
But it needs to be intimately related to the ideas of philosophy, ethics and humanism, in order to stay within channels that offer us the best of its attributes and minimize its possible dangers.
This union between thought and technology is called Technohumanism, and it arises from the application of the ideas and theses of the human disciplines to the most innovative technologies and will possibly develop strongly in this decade of 2020, that of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Technohumanism, in turn, will give rise to a new religion: Dataism, which will little by little replace the beliefs of the past, because of the massive use of these Technologies.
Big Data, Bio-Pharma-Genetics, the Internet of Everything, Artificial Intelligence and Extended Reality will change us completely; we will soon be TransHuman and, beyond the Technological Singularity, possibly PostHuman.
New Technologies will change us completely; we will soon be TransHuman and, beyond the Technological Singularity, possibly PostHuman.

CONTEXT
2020 is the beginning of the greatest Technological Transformation in the history of humanity. Never before had such a volume of innovations been produced continuously and concurrently. It is the beginning of the Fourth Digital Transformation and the Fourth Industrial Revolution and of all the Emerging Technologies associated with them.
These innovations are appearing at a pace that far exceeds the capacity of assimilation at the individual level, even for those with a high level of technological knowledge. A notable inequality is being created in the different levels of adoption by people, not only because of generational differences or differences in purchasing power, but also because of the difficulty of accessing the right information in this very advanced and complex technological context.
Europe has a unique opportunity to be the voice of the people. It can lead a historic Second Renaissance, where the Human Being is placed at the center and it is Technology that is put at the Human Being’s service.
Europe has not been able to match the current disruptive technology leaders for some time, but now it has a unique opportunity to be the voice of the people. With credibility and coherence it can lead a historic Second Renaissance, where the Human Being is placed at the center and it is Technology that is put at the Human Being’s service.
The Socioeconomic and Cultural context of Technohumanism is that of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the Fourth Digital Transformation, the Second Machine Age and the Second Cognitive Age. The movement advocates a New Digital Social Contract that drives the Second Renaissance, and in which the return of Mética and the safeguarding of the values of the Human Being are fostered.
The Socioeconomic and Cultural context of Technohumanism is that of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the Fourth Digital Transformation, the Second Machine Age and the Second Cognitive Age.
We are already immersed in the Second Cognitive Revolution, characterized mainly by opening hidden horizons, such as the discovery of unknown mental states and the achievement, dreamed of for so many centuries, of attaining immortality. That is why some world-renowned transhumanists such as Ray Kurzweil go so far as to claim that the first immortal superhumans are walking among us today. On the other hand, Artificial Intelligence is plunging us headlong into the Second Machine Age, which will bring about the most important transformation of social, labor, economic and political organization ever known.
It is estimated that around 2025 Artificial Intelligence will have been massively incorporated into the business structure, and to a greater or lesser extent the machine will help in every process of the value chain, in what until now was the irreplaceable stronghold of the human being, reasoning. These two important movements are accompanied by the Fourth Digital Transformation, which means the end of screens.
Technohumanism advocates a New Digital Social Contract that drives the Second Renaissance, and in which the return of Mética and the safeguarding of the values of the Human Being are fostered.
It is the shift from touchscreen devices to screenless devices based on Extended Reality, the sum of Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality. In fact, the main two pillars of this Fourth Digital Transformation are Artificial Intelligence and Extended Reality acting in combination. The Untouch Generation will be the one to assimilate this powerful transformation naturally; they are those who have not yet been born and they will be the ones who best understand its true potential.
Finally, all this takes place in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, also called Factory 4.0, Industry 4.0, Smart Industry or Cyber-Industry of the Future, which corresponds to a new way of organizing the means of production. Its aim is the deployment of a large number of Smart Factories capable of greater adaptability to the needs and processes of production, as well as a more efficient reallocation of resources.
TechnoDemocracy
In the coming decades we will witness all these revolutions and transformations, which will condition the new politics and the voting power of electors. The new democratic structures will be created out of the current impossibility of processing such an accumulation of relevant data and our total inability to form a pertinent opinion.
The logical consequences for modern societies and for models of coexistence in freedom will not be long in coming. The political class will limit itself to managing each country’s budgets instead of leading a project for the future.
Democracy and TechnoHumanity in general must take on, as soon as possible, the challenge of making sure this does not happen; what is at stake is the survival of humanity as a species. A dystopian future is more possible than ever, so the Technohumanist approach is the basis for turning around this scenario, which at first seems irremediable.
We have the option to rebuild the institutions of the past or reimagine a new multilateral system centered on science, technology, health and the environment. International cooperation and solidarity will protect us better than walls and unilateral decisions.
We have the option to rebuild the institutions of the past or reimagine a new multilateral system centered on science, technology, health and the environment.
We need a new generation of leaders who build bridges between science and diplomacy to tackle global challenges. Technohumanism advocates building Science-Policy-Society Interfaces.
TechnoAnthropoCentrism: Human-Centered Technology
Ensuring that the Fourth Industrial Revolution is, first and foremost, HumanCentric means that policymakers, technology leaders and citizens must collaborate and co-create systems based on shared human values.
This is at once the decisive challenge and the great opportunity of our time: finding a way for the Emerging Technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to enhance the common good, preserve human dignity and safeguard the surroundings and the environment for future generations.
This new Technohumanist movement must be carefully formulated in an attempt to place the Human Being at the epicenter, and to make Technology serve human values and not the other way around. We are entering the era of the Second Renaissance, for which a new type of profile must be created, the Technohumanist, who recovers Mética, alongside Logic and Mysticism, and focuses the strengths of Technology through Mental Positivism and TechnoOptimism.
The need arises to create a New Social Contract, which sets the political and socioeconomic foundations of the New Digital Civilization of this Second Renaissance.
The Technohumanist Movement places the Human Being at the epicenter and holds that Technology should always be at the service of human values.
Technohumanist: Changes in the Way of Being, Existing and Imagining
The Humanist Technologist, or Technohumanist, is one who works to always put technology at the service of the human being.
An update of the traditional humanist, able to adapt to any environment, with knowledge of programming, of the digital economy and of the new information and communication society. With deep knowledge of sociology, humanism, history, anthropology, art, etc.; this person has a global vision, knows the different cultures, knows how to move across borders, and has knowledge of the evolution of human behavior and of how humans relate to their environment.
The Technohumanist is an update of the traditional humanist, able to adapt to any environment, with knowledge of programming, of the digital economy and of the new information and communication society.
All this knowledge allows them to discern and pinpoint what the right questions are to ask, according to the available data, in order to obtain the best information; to provide judgment and guide the various public or private agents on which decisions they should make.
The entrepreneurial capacity of this profile is high thanks to its analytical, strategic and technical resolve, which allows it to generate new business models from the information extracted and processed. The Fourth Industrial Revolution takes us from Touching Technology to Feeling It. This implies an unprecedented change in BEING, EXISTING and IMAGINING. The way we Relate, Learn, Perceive and Create will be transformed so much that it is right now impossible for us to predict it.
With the Fourth Industrial Revolution the way we Relate, Learn, Perceive and Create will be transformed so much that it is right now impossible for us to predict it.
In a few years, the center of our digital lives will no longer be the Smartphone, but a device that will resemble ordinary, wearable, fashionable glasses: except that these glasses will incorporate Extended Reality technology, a mix of Virtual, Mixed and Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence (Extended Artificial Reality).
What we really see with our bio-eyes and what is generated by computation will blend so closely that we will not be able to tell the real from the artificial illusion. A new DIGITAL CENTER of Human-Machine Interaction will appear; we will move from the Smartphone to the Smartsense, a multidevice that will go beyond the Wearable’s Second Skin, possibly taking the form of a BioImplant, which will immerse us in a new DIGITAL REALITY almost indistinguishable from the REAL one.

CONCLUSION
The Fourth Industrial Revolution is the Genesis of Technohumanism, and it means not only the Revolution of industry but also that of the Human Being as we knew it. More than ever we must foster the development of a new Ethics and the recovery of Anthropocentric Thought brought into the Technological context.
The Fourth Industrial Revolution will bring enormous Changes in the Way We Work, in Consumption Habits, Leisure, and the Way We Communicate and Get Informed. It will undoubtedly be the shift from screens to IMMERSION and later to Hybridization or Cyborgization, the era of the PostHuman. We will change both Externally and Internally, in all likelihood.
The Fourth Industrial Revolution is the Genesis of Technohumanism, and it means not only the Revolution of industry but also that of the Human Being as we knew it.
And so that this change leads us toward the best of all possible futures, this Technohumanist Movement is born, uniting Thought, Philosophy and Ethics with Science and Technology. It applies the ideas and theses of the Human Disciplines to the Disruptive Emerging Technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, with a TechnoAnthropoCentric approach, in which Technology always remains at the service of the Human Being. Its three fundamental principles are:
* HUMANISM as a life attitude that conceives human values in an integrated way, in the context of a Second Renaissance, where the anthropocentric vision puts technology at the service of the human being.
* EDUCATION, understood as a basic need to achieve adaptation to and knowledge of the new digital society, fostering continuous self-learning, creativity and innovation.
* SOLIDARITY: in order to face the existential challenges that confront us jointly and individually, we must unite as a single species and overcome all our conflicts through the awareness that it is the only possible path.
“For a Technology at the Service of the Human Being” is the maxim of the Technohumanist Manifesto

THE IANÉTICA PROJECT
2020 marks the beginning of a new era in which Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Connected and Intelligent Things will transform Everything. Experience has taught us that the virtues of these new technologies are not guaranteed, so we have to reflect more than ever, so that the path is drawn correctly in all possible scenarios.
How this should be carried out is something that concerns us all, so the time has come to move to Action, in an Innovative way, that puts the Human Being at the center of everything. This is what we call the Second Renaissance, an era marked by a transcendental movement, Technohumanism, whose maxim is to place Technology always at the Service of the Human Being.
And for that there are two basic pillars of action: the Development of an Ethics for the proper use of Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Everything (IANética), and the Education/Training of a new concept of TechnoCitizen who knows how the world will be transformed and what path they can follow to be an active part of this New Revolution, the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
IANética is a Technohumanist project for the development of an Ethics around the proper use of Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Everything.

FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS OF TECHNOHUMANISM
«An open proposal for the development of Fundamental Rights in the face of the Technological Singularity»
These rights are stated from an ethical point of view, with the Human Being as the center, but in an individual context. It is not the aim of the Technohumanist Movement to leave the ethical plane and enter the political one, which pursues the common good and works in the context of the collective.
It is the main objective of the Technohumanist Movement and of the IANética Project in particular to develop and deepen these and other Fundamental Rights, through Debate and interdisciplinary collaboration, thus fulfilling the maxim of uniting Thought with Technology.
The various texts, theories, opinions and approaches that arise from this development will be published on the IANética TransMedia platform. It will take various digital forms, such as this Website, Podcast, Videos, Documentaries, Comics, Books, etc…
- THE RIGHT TO SUPREMACY (THE MACHINE AT OUR SERVICE)
