The main goal is to promote technohumanism in the age of Big Data, the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence, with ethical and humanist values.
This course grew out of a collaboration proposed by the Las Naves innovation center of the Ayuntamiento de Valencia (Valencia City Council) to CEFIRE-Unitat específica àmbit TIC SDG formació professorat de la Generalitat Valenciana, to teach the fundamentals of Education 4.0 to Valencian teachers, based on the Las Naves project “IANética: ethics for the good use of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things”.
The main goal is to promote technohumanism in the age of Big Data, the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence, with ethical and humanist values. This training, titled “Artificial Intelligence and Extended Reality in Education 4.0”, is now open online to anyone interested, with no prior training and free of charge.
Designed for an audience with no prior knowledge of artificial intelligence or of any other kind. It is a course whose educational value has already been evaluated, since it has been delivered to Valencian public school teachers. It consists of 6 teaching units and 28 topics, which introduce students to the basic concepts and knowledge needed to understand the present and future context of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, and the opportunities they can bring to education, which can be extrapolated to the acquisition of knowledge for any sector or discipline.
The program is designed so that students devote at least 5 hours a week to the course, split between practice and theory, for a total of 30 hours. There is both theoretical and practical content (videos, exercises, readings, quizzes, app recommendations, etc.), accompanied by videos recorded by a leading instructor and a virtual environment where you can get in touch with other people taking the same course. You can complete the course from the comfort of your home and in your free time.
